She took a break from riding during her time at Union College, and shortly after graduation she began a 17 year corporate career as a Healthcare Consultant in Connecticut. Throughout this hiatus, her love for horses and the sport of riding was constant, and she jumped at the opportunity to get into the business of coaching when her daughter was old enough to sit in a saddle! Jillian’s two daughters, Izzy and Olivia, are avid riders and the proud leasees of Brooke Kelly’s beloved pony, Pip! Jillian works with beginner and intermediate riders of all ages. Her focus is on teaching effective riding fundamentals to ensure a strong and safe riding foundation for all of her riders. Jillian also assists Kate and Julie with the Cranberry Acres IEA team as well as supports the farm’s riders at local shows.
